Matthew This is an odd-ball deck that I put together to experiment with Thrumming Stone and cascade. I put a Flameblast Dragon in instead of a 3rd Enlisted Wurm to have a 5/5 flyer at the same CMC. I put the Warp World in instead of a 3rd Enigma Sphinx for giggles. Here is the decklist. 60 Cards.

Matthew I was playing my causal Ripple Cascade deck. I had both Thrumming Stone and Maelstrum Nexus in play, I always ripple first then cascade second. On turn 7 I cast Enigma Sphinx and it cascaded into an Enlisted Wurm, that Wurm rippled into a second Wurm, which in turn cascaded into a Bloodbraid Elf!! It was beautiful but ...my opponent scooped before I could resolve all the ripple and cascade nuttyness! I still had a ripple+cascade left for the bloodbraid and a cascade left for the first Wurm.

Dan

Dan Took 5th and went 3-1 again with my Eldrazi Green with a blue splash! D: But White Weenie beat me again! Any advice on how to deal with it? It's got more early game damage potential than RDW because of Steppe Lynx, and runs all the good white removal. Thinking of Sideboarding Fog so that I can knock out a bit of damage and get set up. Any ideas or advice?

Brandon Isleib

Brandon Isleib For those who like pondering these things, I've put up a long article about the Magic color pie translated to music at my blog: http://bit.ly/5I7Hmb . Coming soon, I'll be taking each two-color and three-color combination and posting the album I've made for them.

bit.ly
Early in 2009, I made guild mix CDs for my Magic: the Gathering playgroup, and they turned out to be a hit. I’ve updated them a few times, and in the process learned a lot about how Magic translates into other fields. ...

Matthew Can you cascade into a Serra Avenger before your 4th turn?

Ethan Harper

Ethan Harper Your favorite card to build a fun casual deck around?
Mine is Shared Fate because I play with people who have moxes and old dual lands so always fun to play $100 with a $1 card.

Michael Shirley And about planeswalkers- I know u can block with them, but when my opponent declares combat phase, can his creatures attack my 'walker instead of me, even if I dont choose to block?

Michael Shirley

Michael Shirley Okay, say I cascade and a card like blaze or fireball comes up, since X counts as 0, these would resolve for 0 damage, right? Or does that spell not count?
